I always knew I had a lot of hair, that's not what I mean. I mean it's looooong! And I had no idea Ola had left that much hair up there.

Come on...you didn't think it was this long, did you? Tell the truth!

I stayed up half the night putting two-strand twists all over my head. (Well that's not true - I left about 2 or 3 sections unbraided because I was falling asleep!) This time I didn't use any oil or gel, mostly because it was all very spontaneous. I was talking on the phone, using my hands free unit and before I realized it, I had twisted one row already. So I just kept going - wanted to see what it would look like with the twists and then once I took them out.

It certainly doesn't look like much in the pictures, but I was quite impressed with the way the curl set in just overnight, without styling products or anything! I just need to brainstorm & figure out how I'm going to parlay that into a real hairstyle. Also, next time I'll use some Organic Root Stimulator, Lock & Twist Gel. I purchased it when I had the braids and was very happy with the consistency of it - it's lite & smooth, not sticky or heavy.

I was also thinking that it might be fun to blow dry my hair, then twist it. Perhaps I'll try that next weekend.
